  1. The Preferences window has several pages which are accessed
  2. with a popup menu, the keyboard, or the arrow buttons.
  3.  
  4. Use the arrow buttons to go from one topic to the next, 
  5. or use the popup menu to go directly to any topic.
  6.  
  7. The right and left arrow keys on the keyboard also work, and using the command-key with the appropriate page number will go directly to that page.
  8.  
  9. Changes made to the Preferences are effective immediately, not when the window is closed.
